SolarWinds Updates VoIP and Network Management Solution

Network management software developer, SolarWinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), recently released its VoIP & Network Quality Manager, designed to help IT professionals maintain a high level of VoIP network performance and voice quality.

SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager, formerly known as IP SLA Manager, monitors the performance of individual VoIP calls. The software monitors and analyzes call quality metrics within the call detail record (CDR) and provides real-time alerts to IT pros to help them troubleshoot issues faster, the company said.

The solution is being offered for the first time as a standalone product, or it can still be deployed fully integrated with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM). VoIP & Network Quality Manager provides the following  functions:

  • Monitoring VoIP Call Performance

  • Troubleshooting VoIP Call Performance

  • Searching and Filtering Call Detail Records

  • WAN Performance Monitoring
