SherWeb has kicked off a campaign that is designed to give managed service providers (MSPs), independent software vendors (ISVs) and IT consultants new partner enablement tools to help them sell Microsoft Hosted Exchange.

SherWeb has launched a program to help managed service providers (MSPs), independent software vendors (ISVs) and IT consultants white label and sell Hosted Microsoft Exchange.

The Sherbrooke, Quebec-based cloud services provider (CSP) this week started offering new partner enablement tools as part of its out-of-the-box Hosted Exchange campaign.

“The campaign gives MSPs all the white-labelled collateral and sales tools that they need to position, sell and support Hosted Exchange,” a SherWeb spokesperson told MSPmentor. “MSPs can pick and choose the services that they want within SherWeb’s offering, get the pertinent sales and technical resources and integrate them into their current offerings; it’s as easy as that.”

Hosted Exchange is a communication and collaboration solution based on Microsoft’s email, calendar and contacts server platform, and MSPs, ISVs and IT consultants can leverage it to manage all of a customer’s Exchange backend services.

SherWeb said its Hosted Exchange campaign walks partners through the pros and cons of cloud-based Exchange vs. premise-based. 

The campaign offers a total cost of ownership (TCO) calculator and other tools to help SherWeb partners calculate costs typically associated with an Exchange environment.

“Most hosting providers offer partner programs, but few provide the sales, marketing and technical resources and support partners need to successfully transition to the cloud model,” Mathieu Leblanc, SherWeb’s director of sales and strategic partners, said in a prepared statement. “Our new out-of-the-box campaign is just one of the many tools we offer our channel partners so that they can successfully grow their business in the cloud.”

In addition to the TCO calculator, SherWeb’s Hosted Exchange campaign gives partners PowerPoint decks, technical guides and training videos that they can use to sell and support Hosted Exchange.

“The biggest challenge for MSPs, ISVs and IT consultants is not convincing customers of the benefits of Exchange, but of taking it to the cloud,” said Majd Madina, marketing manager for SherWeb’s Partner Network. “Our new Hosted Exchange out-of-the-box campaign gives them all the tools they need to generate leads and close sales quickly and easily.”
