Qualys Inc., which develops a SaaS-based security and compliance suite for customers and service providers, is putting a new user interface on its cloud platform. At the same time, the company continues to promote QualysGuard MSP,  which allows managed services providers and hosting partners to offer vulnerability assessment services.

Let’s start with the user interface news. The Qualysguard IT Security and Compliance Suite is a SaaS solution designed to help SMBs and enterprise companies achieve the following four goals:

The suite’s new UI features new dashboards, actionable workflows and menus, and context-based interactions with Qualys’ IT experts. It’s currently in beta testing, but here’s a preview of the QualysGuard new UI.

Qualys also offers the QualysGuard MSP for service providers and hosting partners. QualysGuard MSP allows service providers to offer vulnerability assessments to end-customers. The MSP offering can be deployed as a standalone solution or as part of the QualysGuard IT Security and Compliance Suite.

Meanwhile, Qualys has also introduced QualysGuard Consulting Edition (which features a virtual scanner and costs $2,495 per year). Also, QualysGuard Web Application Service (WAS) is now generally available.
