ProVal Takes New Approach to Management with Remote Engineer

ProVal Technologies, an international IT services provider for SMBs and the enterprise, is taking a new approach to meeting its clients’ networking monitoring and server support needs with its Remote Engineer service. Here are the details.

ProVal will offer each of its clients a full-time equivalent engineer to help create a schedule for managing and maintain their server or network and provide 24/7 server monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance. What makes ProVal’s Remote Engineer service unique? The engineer working with ProVal’s clients won’t be on-site. The ProVal engineer will be working with ProVal clients from the company’s Network Operations Center (NOC) in New Delhi, India. Proval engineers will be able to work with ProVal clients anywhere in the world, the company claims.

The Remote Engineer service follows ProVal’s main company philosophy: Advancements in software and Internet infrastructure has shifted the IT management sector from an on-site model to a remote model. ProVal believes the vast majority of tasks associated with monitoring and maintaining a network can be done remotely, and the company is poised to prove it by managing the networks of its North American, European, Middle Eastern and Australian customers all from its India-based NOC.

ProVal also helps its clients select and transfer applications to public and private cloud environments.
