NTRglobal’s Managed Services Partner Strategy Takes Shape
NTRglobal, best-known for its remote support software, is quietly developing a range of partnerships in the managed services software market. So far, the NTRglobal moves include relationships with ConnectWise, BMC and N-able. But I get the sense that more relationships are coming.
Back in June 2011, I recapped how NTRglobal had made multiple executive changes in the past two years or so to help focus the company. Among the key hires: Domenick Lionetti, VP of sales for US and Latin America. NTRglobal is based in Europe with a large office near Dallas, Texas. Lionetti has extensive experience helping European software companies gain a larger footprint in the US.
In recent months it sounds like Lionetti and his peers at NTRglobal have been working to deepen NTRglobal’s relationships with ConnectWise, BMC and N-able, while pushing into some new relationships (stay tuned…). To sharpen the company’s focus, NTRglobal has zeroed in on three core opportunities: Chat, remote desktop support and device management automation. Instead of competing with traditional RMM (remote monitoring and management) software platforms, NTRglobal is plugging into them.
Moreover, NTRglobal counts ConnectWise among its key customers. ConnectWise uses NTRglobal’s chat software to help speed customer and partner support. The ConnectWise-NTRglobal relationship is a key part of ConnectWise’s strategy to offer 24×7 support.
I grabbed lunch with Lionetti in Los Angeles earlier this week, during Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 (WPC11). And… well… stay tuned.
