TruNorth Dynamics has re-arrived on the channel scene. The newly named company focuses on customers ready to modernize their business operating platform using Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The company has been around for more than 20 years, implementing Microsoft Dynamics solutions. This announcement marks its new company name, and celebrates that history.

“We are super excited to be launching TruNorth Dynamics,” said Ole Gjerde, TruNorth Dynamics president and co-founder. “There’s been an explosion of demand for companies to move their business operations to the cloud. We have found businesses need a team of experts who can help them along their path toward digital transformation.”

Scott Maher, vice president of operations, says that it is an exciting time to be launching a new company.

Solutions to Business Problems

“At TruNorth Dynamics, our focus is solving clients’ business problems,” said Maher. [We do that] by first sitting down and listening to what each business needs and concerns are. [Then we are] able to design a solution to their business problems. At TruNorth Dynamics, we are committed to helping find business direction and solutions through partnership.”

Curt Cullison, vice president of channel, says that the company’s focus is on building partnerships. Specifically, with the MSPs and accounting firm communities. For instance, they assist them in developing deeper and wider relationships with their clients.

“Our team of solution architects spends time understanding the business problem the client is trying to solve. [They do this] before building and deploying a solution,” said Cullison.

TruNorth Dynamics began in 2005 as Summit Software Group. Acquired by True IT in 2018, the company became the business applications division of True IT. After that, in early 2021, True IT launched its business applications division as TruNorth Dynamics. Above all, the idea was to keep hyper-focused on what it is good at — developing business solutions.

This focus will enable the team to provide Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to businesses ready to move to the cloud.
