NetEnrich Prepares “Closet to Cloud” Push for MSPs
NetEnrich — a NOC (network operations center) provider that works closely with MSPs — continues to evolve rapidly. It sounds like Senior VP and General Manager Justin Crotty (pictured) is crafting a new branding effort — something along the lines of “from the closet to the cloud.” To assist with the effort it sounds like NetEnrich is nearly… ready… to make another strategic hire. Here’s the update.
To understand NetEnrich’s future it’s important to look at the past. In recent years NetEnrich has offered monitoring services and at times has been considered a Master MSP of sorts. By early 2010 or so, NetEnrich really found its niche by offering its NOC (Network Operations Center) services to MSPs. NetEnrich expanded the NOC business by partnering closely with distributors like Ingram Micro and Arrow ECS. Crotty, himself an Ingram veteran, described the strategy in this MSPmentor FastChat Video.
So what’s next for NetEnrich? I’ve got a three-part answer…
- First, NetEnrich is pushing into unified communications and VoIP management for MSPs.
- Second, Crotty is developing a strategy — potentially called ” closet to cloud” to more clearly define NetEnrich’s long-term focus.
- And third, NetEnrich is ready to make another strategic hire. So, who got the job offer and what’s the position? Yada, yada, yada… stay tuned.
Meanwhile, what will this “closet to cloud” strategy entail? It sounds like NetEnrich doesn’t want to put all of its eggs in a single basket (such as on-premise monitoring, NOC services or cloud computing). Instead, NetEnrich seems to be coining a new term for hybrid cloud computing — something that communicates the management of everything from a customer’s on-premise wiring closet out to the cloud.
