Chris Cramer, formerly of I.T. Works, has joined NetEnrich as partner manager. Cramer will work closely with GM and Senior VP Justin Crotty to further enable the company's MSP partner base. The hire comes as NetEnrich extends beyond traditional NOC (network operations center) services to handle more day-to-day tasks for managed services providers.

Cramer's core responsibility is driving growth across the NetEnrich partner base. As a former NetEnrich partner himself, Cramer should be well-suited for the role.

According to a prepared statement from Crotty:

“Chris is ideally suited to become NetEnrich's Partner Manager due to his experience working for I.T. Works, a fast growing MSP that leveraged NetEnrich to significantly grown their managed services business. He brings tremendous credibility to our partners and customers, and will be instrumental in assisting them in leveraging right programs and methodologies to rapidly and profitably grow their recurring revenue services businesses.”

NOC and help desk services remain key focus areas for MSPs that are seeking to further automate their businesses. But the industry has also been pushing in multiple directions.

  • Some NOC-focused companies also offer managed services software. A prime example is Continuum Managed Services.

  • Other MSP software companies have been building out NOC services but the journey tends to be a long one. An example there is Level Platforms.

  • Other MSP software companies prefer to partner for integrated NOC or help desk offerings. An example is N-able Technologies, which works closely with Live Virtual Help Desk and has also worked with NetEnrich.

NetEnrich more than a year ago began pushing beyond traditional NOC services as part of a closet-to-cloud push. It includes monitoring MSPs' end-customer applications, databases and more — regardless of their location. We'll be sure to ping Crotty for updated thoughts, and also check in with Cramer to see what role his job plays in the larger NetEnrich strategy.
