Carousel Industries, an Exeter, Rhode Island-based managed service provider (MSP), is working with telecommunications giant Level 3 Communications (LVLT) to offer various managed services and cloud-based products.

The companies have announced a strategic partnership; under the terms of the agreement, Carousel will provide IT managed services to support Level 3’s business solutions, ranging from unified communications (UC) and hosted video to cloud and data services.

“Through our strategic alliance with Level 3 … Carousel will serve an important role in creating end-to-end communication solutions for organizations across a range of vertical markets including government, healthcare, finance and others,” Carousel CEO Jeff Gardner said in a prepared statement.

Carousel also will provide customer premises equipment (CPE) to customers and connect them directly to Level 3’s network and managed services via the Carousel SmartPoint managed services program.

“This alliance leverages Carousel’s customer management expertise with Level 3’s network and portfolio of secure, flexible solutions to tackle the challenges enterprises face today,” said Lisa Miller, Level 3’s senior vice president of wholesale markets and alternate channels.

A Carousel spokesperson told MSPmentor that the partnership combines the strength and reliability of the Level 3 network with Carousel’s managed services expertise, and ultimately, could offer “significant value” to both companies and their respective customers.

Carousel currently supports over 6,000 customers, while Level 3 serves customers in more than 500 markets worldwide.
