MetaSolv Introduces Time-to-Market OSS

MetaSolv Software Inc. has introduced Time-to-Market (TTM) OSS, leveraging MetaSolvs Provisioning 5 solution.

More than ever, service providers worldwide are demanding extreme flexibility from their OSS solutions, to support 90-day or less service incubation, creation and delivery cycles.

MetaSolvs Time-to-Market OSS is specifically positioned for the deployment of next-generation services swiftly and affordably for incubation in pilots, trials and initial deployment stages. The solution can be evolved to support mass market deployment.

The solution offers:

–Coordination of people, systems and activities while giving back-office end-users a consistent Web interface to see the data they need

–A series of pre-packaged processes for next generation services, including IPTV

–It leverages existing systems and data sources to extract data and make it available to back-office end-users in real-time

–It tracks tasks, processes and end-user changes

–It supports multiple iterations of provisioning processes as operators introduce, refine, streamline and automate the delivery of new services

MetaSolvs Time-to-Market OSS, leveraging Provisioning 5, is designed and packaged to facilitate service providers needs to innovate and rapidly launch new services cost-effectively, said David Sharpley, executive vice president, marketing and product management at MetaSolv. MetaSolvs innovative approach allows operators to address the balance of achieving time-to-market for new services while maintaining a strategic OSS vision.
