ManageEngine Upgrades VoIP Management Solution

ManageEngine LogoManageEngine , which develops managed services and IT service desk software, has launched three new products designed for MSPs and IT administrators. The featured product is the VQManager Distributed Edition, which helps MSPs maintain VoIP networks for customers. Here are the details.

VQManager Distributed Edition uses probes to monitor the availability and quality of a company's VoIP system over a large, distributed area. The original version of the VQManager is better suited for shorter range monitoring, the company claims. ManageEngine claims VQManager Distributed Edition can monitor VoIP calls for thousands of conversations at once. The solution is tailored to mid-to-large enterprise corporations dealing with several offices.

ManageEngine, owned by ZOHO Corp., also announced the general availability of its Site24x7 and MSPCenter Plus Remote Control solutions, which MSPmentor described in September, 2011.

  • Site24x7 helps monitor end user experience for cloud apps. Raj Sabhlok, president of ManageEngine, said: "Site 24x7 plays into the hot market of website monitoring. There's really a demand for this type of technology among existing companies that are moving to the web and among newer companies that are offering web-based services."
  • MSP Center Plus is agent-based Remote Systems Monitoring software designed for MSPs and SMBs managing highly distributed networks.
