Kaspersky, Autotask Join Forces on MSP Security Offering
Kaspersky Lab North America has integrated the Autotask Endpoint Management solution into its anti-malware technologies in an effort to help managed service providers protect their customer’s endpoint solutions.
The solution is expected to help MSPs deliver a more unified approach for security management in light of the increasing number of malware attacks on personal and enterprise computers and mobile devices, according to the announcement.
Autotask Endpoint Management is the professional services automation (PSA) vendor’s entry into the remote monitoring and management (RMM) market, built from its acquisition of CentraStage last year.
A recent Kaspersky Lab study found $2.2 billion malware attacks reported in Q1 of 2015, which is double the amount reported during the same quarter in 2014.

Kaspersky’s security solution includes web content filtering, device and application controls to allow users to customize their security policies, according to the announcement. Autotask’s Endpoint Management solution, meanwhile, provides users with visibility and control over their devices across multiple operating systems.
