Integra Telecom‘s Managed PBX and Hosted PBX services for business are now available network-wide. The company’s carrier-class network mainly serves the U.S. West Coast, with some extended reach into the Midwest and East Coast. For MSPs mulling the voice market, Integra’s move is the latest sign that the hosted PBX market has gone mainstream.

Integra’s Hosted PBX expansion comes roughly three months after the company rolled out cloud-based security services for SMBs. The PBX services include telephone equipment from MITEL and NEC.

Managed PBX and Hosted PBX have long been core parts of Integra’s offering. The difference now is that the two services will be available throughout the company’s entire network, to all of its regional business markets. Those markets include the following 11 western United States and total approximately 100,000 business and carrier customers.

  • Arizona

  • California

  • Colorado

  • Idaho

  • Minnesota

  • Montana

  • Nevada

  • North Dakota

  • Oregon

  • Utah

  • Washington

This is the second major announcement we’ve heard from Integra since the Oregon-based company named Ken Worcester its new VP of Indirect Sales (A.K.A. Channel Chief), the other being the cloud security for SMBs development. When assuming the position, Worcester vowed to focus on “high bandwidth and cloud services,” because that’s what customers were asking for. This move certainly follows that trend.
