Ingram Micro Creates Healthcare Partner Network
Ingram Micro has launched the Ingram Micro Healthcare Partner Network for Ingram Micro VARs and MSPs. Predictably, the effort seeks to help IT service providers to partner up and unlock deeper opportunities in the healthcare sector.
‘When we started building a focus around healthcare, we asked our partners where they see the growth and how Ingram can help them excel,” Ingram Micro Senior Director of Vertical Markets Michael Humke said. “One component that came out is that they said it’s impossible for any provider to do 100 percent of the work for their customers.”
Ingram Micro is hoping that the Ingram Micro Healthcare Partner Network will solve this problem by letting one partner meet other Ingram partners that provide a service that they can integrate with.
Humke said that the partner network had begun to form organically before Ingram Micro launched the new network. Partners were meeting each other at Ingram Micro roundtables and other events and collaborating to offer unified solutions. The Ingram Micro Partner Network only looks to make this process even easier.
The Ingram Micro Healthcare Partner Network is free for Ingram Micro channel partners. Others will have to pay a $300 annual membership fee. But act fast, because Ingram Micro won’t be letting thousands of companies join. “Our objective is just south of 300 partners,” Humke said. “We don’t want to saturate the market.”
