Info Directions Releases Latest Version, Partners for Workforce Management
Info Directions Inc. will launch a new module for plant inventory, enhance support for E911 and the master street address guide (MSAG), and implement new workforce management capabilities within the next release of its net-centric OSS platform, CostGuard.NET.
CostGuard.NET V. 8.04, scheduled for next quarter, will offer inventory tracking of equipment between customer service addresses and the central office, and will assign inventory to a service while monitoring availability and assignments. Multiple routes can be associated with a service number to support off-premise extensions.
CostGuard.NET also will interface with agencies responsible for E911, and will validate the information it provides against the MSAG.
The new version also can use and manage routing slips, the systems next generation of workflow capabilities. In tandem, service providers using CostGuard.NET can leverage the open architecture to incorporate ViryaNets mobile workforce management solution, Service Hub, thanks to a partnership announced on Wednesday.
Other capabilities in Version 8.04 include access line equivalent monitoring to detect performance and churn, and OnlineBill Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment enhancements, with ad hoc searches, filters and groups.
