gloStream, which develops electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) software, had a huge coming out party back in 2010 -- opening its arms wide to MSPs (managed services providers). At the time the company claimed to have a "100 percent success rate" with customer installations. It almost sounded too good to be true. Was it?
I'm not in a position to answer that question. At least not yet. That's why I'm reaching out to MSPmentor's readers -- and ultimately, gloStream itself.
- Which MSPs succeeded with gloStream and why?
- Which MSPs stumbled with gloStream and why?
- Ultimately, what has been gloStream's success rate among MSPs and channel partners?
The company grabbed the spotlight at IT Nation 2010, hosting an elaborate party and positioning ERM as the next big opportunity for MSPs. That bash arrived about a year after gloStream raised $7.5 million in series B financing. The company also inked distribution agreements with D&H (2011) and Tech Data (2010).
What's the latest? When time permits I'll reach out to Mark Gum, executive VP of partners and practices, this week. But I'd also like to hear from MSPmentor readers. Which MSPs succeeded with gloStream? How and why? And if you didn't succeed: What went wrong? Feel free to post a comment or send me email, joe [at] NineLivesMediaInc.com.
