FBI Goes With ManTech for Security Services

Security solution provider ManTech International has won a $99.5 million contract to provide the FBI with managed security services for the next five years. Here’s the scoop.

ManTech bills itself as specializing in serving the intelligence community such as the US Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Justice, and other federal government agencies. In theory, that means ManTech is no stranger to upholding the strict standards the FBI is sure to impose.

Under this deal, ManTech will keep an eye on the FBI’s security 24 by 7, watching for intrusions, identifying and responding to incidents, training employees, and introducing new security technologies.

All I’ll say on the matter is that if the FBI trusts them, then ManTech and their claimed 9,100 employees are probably very good at what they do.
