Exablox Adds New Channel Program Offering for MSPs
Cloud-based storage solutions provider Exablox today is rolling out a new channel partner program for managed services providers (MSPs) looking to leverage the company’s storage appliance and cloud-based management service for recurring revenue.
The new program is dedicated to supporting partners who focus on mid-market customers across vertical industries, the company said.
Exablox Sales Vice President Ezra Hookano, who joined the company in January, told MSPmentor that “Exablox is an excellent solution for MSPs looking to offer both managed storage and managed backup services.”
The company offers MSPs a multi-tenant cloud-based management service called OneSystem that enables remote management of its OneBlox storage solution through a single One System account.
“Moreover, with the scale-out architecture of OneBlox, MSPs can incrementally grow their capital investment in storage hardware as their customers’ storage requirements increase,” he said.
He added: “Because OneBlox enables MSPs to add capacity at any point in time with zero configuration and no application changes or downtime there are no forklift upgrades or burdensome 12-24 month hardware planning cycles MSPs have to undertake.”
To support MSPs with recurring revenue, the program offers annual and multi-year software subscriptions for some of the enterprise features, Hookano said.
“As Exablox is committed to the channel, we will work with our partners on both subscription renewals and additional hardware sales their customer’s require over time as storage needs increase,” he said.
Before Exablox expands its partner program any further, the company wants to “make the first 60 channel partners in North America wildly successful,” Hookano said.
“Once we do that, we can decide if we want to add more,” he said.
