Europe: Hints of Managed Services Expansion
...which includes:
For the most part, many of the major MSP software providers are doing business in Europe. Now there are signs that those efforts are expanding. The latest examples involve ConnectWise getting its first French partner and N-able signing a Swedish distribution agreement. Here’s a quick look at the news…
…which includes:
- French managed services provider BeProductiv has embraced ConnectWise to help automate its business processes. ConnectWise continues to position its software as a “business level” operating system.
- N-able has sealed a deal with noted Swedish value-added distributor PCM Software, marking the first availability of the N-central RMM platform to the country’s IT channel – and again, they’re zeroing in on MSPs who serve the SMB space.
Meanwhile, IT giants like Amazon and Microsoft continue to expand their global SaaS and cloud efforts.
For Amazon Web Services’ part, they’ve officially launched their Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2) infrastructure-as-a-service cloud platform in Singapore, their very first Asian Pacific region. Also, I have it on good authority that Microsoft’s recent adjustment to the BPOS partner billing schemes is at least partially designed to facilitate global sales.
