EarthLink Sales and Marketing Executive Vice President Michael D. Toplisek says it's vital for Earthlink to "offer a robust suite of managed services."

EarthLink, an MSPmentor 501 company, is taking its monitoring and management services beyond the cloud, extending it to clients’ on-premise infrastructure, too. The company this week announced that its new service will provide network and server management and monitoring services for clients’ on-premise equipment.

The service will include routine maintenance and help resolve associated issues. EarthLink said its approach combines technology, automation and skilled personnel to provide mid-sized businesses with the same management and monitoring capabilities of large enterprises.

Earthlink said benefits of the solution includes: staying up-to-date with the latest technology from the cloud, immediate response to alarms and alerts, rapid issue resolution, and increased network and application reliability and performance.

EarthLink Sales and Marketing Executive Vice President Michael D. Toplisek said in a statement that it’s vital for Earthlink to “offer a robust suite of managed services.”

“Outsourcing server and network management and monitoring to EarthLink effectively expands the scope of what internal IT teams can achieve for their business by putting their skillsets to work on growth and high-visibility projects,” he said.

EarthLink customers are adopting this approach to provide “an immediate solution for managing their servers and network equipment,” but they are also leveraging the strategy to “augment existing EarthLink managed cloud and security solutions to create a single IT environment with consistent policies and a phased approach to moving to the cloud,” Toplisek said.
