Cloud-based file sharing and document management vendor Dropbox has added managed services provider (MSP) TechSquad IT to its growing partner list.

TechSquad IT said the partnership enables it to offer its small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers Dropbox for Business through its technology platform.

The company also said it joined the Dropbox Partner Network, designed to enable partners to resell, manage, and support Dropbox for Business for customers. According to the company, the network’s Dropbox Reseller Portal, has assisted with the company’s the ability to manage teams on behalf of its customers. It has also provided the TechSquad with training, sales and marketing materials.

TechSquad IT founder and CEO Chris Wise said in his prepared remarks that Dropbox for Business will help the company’s SMB customers with streamlining business processes.

“Also, as a member of the Dropbox Partner Network, I now have access to additional tools, resources and staffing, all while not affecting my revenues and/or bottom line, so that I can instead focus on helping my SMB customers on how to increase their own revenues and bottom line,” he said.

Separately, Dropbox announced yesterday a partnership with CharTec, which promotes hardware as a service and MSP sales training, to further promote the Dropbox service to its partner network.

In May 2013, Dropbox said it planned to leverage IT service providers as part of its go-to-market strategy for the paid version of its Dropbox for Business service.
