MSPmentor 501 honoree Datapipe is working with Apache Cassandra solutions provider DataStax to help customers analyze data sets in real-time, regardless of cloud environment.

Under the terms of the agreement, Datapipe will integrate the DataStax Enterprise (DSE) distributed database platform into its Database Management service to provide enterprises with a fully managed database service offering for Apache Cassandra.

“DataStax’s client-driven mentality and go-to-market support very closely aligns with how we do business at Datapipe,” David Lucky, Datapipe’s director of product management, told MSPmentor. “DataStax’s expertise in providing Apache Cassandra for the enterprise made them the clear choice for us.”

In addition, Datapipe said its customers now have the ability to operationally manage DSE on a variety of environments, including managed deployments on the cloud.

Datapipe customers also can use the DataStax enterprise-as-a-managed-service to access:

  • DSE Deployment Guide for a guided best practice approach.

  • Trained database professionals specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure deployments.

  • DSE clusters deployed on a variety of platforms, including hybrid configurations.

  • Escalation support for problem resolution along with service-level agreements (SLAs).

DataStax enterprise-as-a-managed-service is now available worldwide via Datapipe’s Database Management service.

Datapipe ranked 36 on this year’s MSPmentor 501 and continues to explore additional partnerships as well.

“We are always looking to partner with like-minded organizations that are doing innovative work in their respective specialties and as such, are constantly evaluating providers based on what our clients need, and where we believe the market is heading,” Lucky said. “That being said, there is no one-size-fits-all model when it comes to deciding who to partner with. We search for providers with unique market differentiators that help our clients solve problems and allow them to focus on their business.”
