CTERA Networks Integrates With Parallels Automation
CTERA Networks this week announced an integration with the Parallels Automation cloud services delivery platform that enables managed service providers (MSPs) and cloud services providers (CSPs) to deliver storage-as-a-service offerings in minutes.
The new integration allows MSPs and CSPs that are using Parallels Automation to sell, provision, manage and bill for CTERA-based offerings, according to CTERA.
Service providers also can leverage the integration to deliver backup and recovery services, enterprise file sync and share services and disaster recovery and management services using CTERA cloud storage gateways from a single, integrated cloud framework.
“Our service provider partners now have even more options to easily upsell cloud storage services to their customers,” Jeff Denworth, CTERA’s senior vice president of marketing, said in a prepared statement. “CTERA dramatically reduces service provider time-to-market, while also enabling the delivery of the broadest suite of storage-as-a-service offerings to maximize revenue per user.”
Denworth said CTERA provides “simple and secure provisioning” of white-labeled cloud storage services via Parallels Automation as well.
“Service providers are urgently looking for purely private file and backup services that can be white-labeled,” he told MSPmentor. “CTERA is the only company that provides this all from a single platform that can be offered, managed and automated by storage-as-a-service providers.”
Denworth added that CTERA and Parallels have already launched services in conjunction with several service providers, and his company is exploring ways to ensure it can fully support the consumerization of IT.
“CTERA’s product will evolve rapidly through 2015 to support the consumerization of IT and foster the rapid adoption that CSPs and MSPs need to capitalize on today’s cloud opportunity,” he said. “ÇTERA’s cloud services platform will also be integrated with other aspects of our CSP ecosystem’s portfolio where our partners will offer advanced feature/functionality versus consumer software-as-a-service (SaaS) services and the data sovereignty that our enterprise end customers require.”
