Continuum‘s managed service provider (MSP) partners can now more easily leverage Webroot‘s cloud-based security. The Boston-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform provider has partnered with Webroot to deliver “smarter, faster and more effective cybersecurity for its MSP partners’ small and medium-sized business (SMB) clients.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Continuum is bundling Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection into its RMM platform. Continuum pointed out that MSPs can use SecureAnywhere to deploy and manage endpoint security across multiple domains, devices, customers and offices from a single console.

Additionally, Dee Zepf, Continuum’s vice president of products and technical services, said she believes that SecureAnywhere could help her company’s MSP partners become more efficient.

“We believe Webroot’s cloud-based technology is the best possible antivirus protection available. Their solution is light, fast, easy to use and protects endpoints in real-time against active threats,” she told MSPmentor.

Charlie Tomeo, Webroot’s vice president of channel and technical sales, also commented on the announcement: “With Webroot’s cloud-based security solutions and Continuum’s industry-leading services, MSPs will be able to offer their customers better protection and performance, as well as increased operating margins by significantly reducing the complexities and inefficiencies associated with managing a traditional security solution.”

Zepf declined comment on whether the Continuum-Webroot partnership is exclusive for either company, noting that the full terms of the agreement are confidential.

Continuum has an exclusive deal with LogMeIn to offer that company’s remote control software as part of Continuum’s RMM platform. No other RMM vendors are able to bundle LogMeIn remote control.

Continuum also partners with other technology companies to help MSPs secure their data, including LogMeIn (LOGM), FiberLink and AuthAnvil.

Zepf said Continuum will continue to explore partnerships and is focused on ensuring that its MSP partners have everything they need to keep their customers secure.
