ConnectWise, LabTech, Quosal: The IT Office Bundle Surfaces

ConnectWise LabTech Quosal IT Office Bundle

ConnectWise has started to promote “The IT Office Bundle” — featuring ConnectWise, LabTech and Quosal applications — to VARs, MSPs and IT service providers. News of The IT Office Bundle is not surprising, based on CEO Arnie Bellini’s keynote at the IT Nation conference in November 2011. The bundle seeks to help MSPs with professional services automation, remote monitoring and management, and quoting and sales proposal processes.

ConnectWise is promoting The IT Office Bundle at this landing page. Similar to how Microsoft created integrations between Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ConnectWise is seeking to create more and more integrations between three core applications.

Think of it this way: With LabTech, MSPs can potentially detect and resolve customers’ IT issues. If the issues require new hardware, software or services, the MSP can use Quosal to propose a new solution. Then, the MSP can use ConnectWise to track the potential IT project tied to that new solution deployment.

To create the integrations, ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini and President David Bellini in 2010 launched ConnectWise Capital, an investment firm that spotted LabTech, Quosal and CharTec (hardware as a service and IT training) as prime candidates for growth.

At the same time, ConnectWise promised to keep its APIs open — so that third-parties could continue to integrate with ConnectWise’s software. ConnectWise says more than 300 companies (mostly software partners) now use those APIs.
