Connectiva Systems Makes Cloud Push with ConnectivaCloud
Every day, more IT service providers are realizing the benefits of the cloud. Earlier this week, it was Connectiva Systems, the revenue management solutions provider, which announced a new cloud service that will make the company’s analytics platform and entire application portfolio “on demand.” It’s appropriately called the ConnectivaCloud.
With ConnectivaCloud, all of the applications Connectiva has to offer — revenue assurance, fraud management, customer experience management, analytics framework, etc. — will be now be available as a service through the cloud from any web browsing device for a fixed monthly fee. Connectiva’s clients will now be able to pick and choose which of the company’s services they want to purchase and won’t have to pay any of the upfront hardware or software installation costs.
Connectiva Systems President and CEO Avi Bashu had the following to say about the launch of ConnectivaCloud through a company press release:
“Service providers are relentlessly seeking new ways to increase revenues and customer satisfaction while at the same time optimizing capital expenditure. ConnectivaCloud gives operators the flexibility and capabilities to effectively monitor, manage and monetize their revenue and customer data.”
Connectiva is the second company I’ve covered this week that announced cloud capabilities without offering a new solution (HP was the other). Instead, it’s using the cloud to give its solutions more agility, such as an a la carte style in which clients can purchase only the services they want to use, and clients can access their systems from anywhere.
Early next week Connectiva Chief Product and Strategy Officer Anandan Jayarman will offer up more details on the ConnectivaCloud and why it’s unique, how the cloud is changing managed services in the telecommunications industry, how cloud-based offerings compare and contrast with traditional BSS/OSS implementations. Stay tuned.
