CompTIA Streamlines Certification Website

CompTIA, the IT industry association, says an updated website will make life easier for those seeking certifications.

The website has been redesigned to be more efficient for certification candidates, IT professionals, partners, students, HR executives, hiring managers and other visitors.

“Visitors to our certification website now have improved access to the information, research and tools that can help them evaluate career options and to choose the path to hiring and advancement that’s best suited for them,” said Randy Gross, chief information officer at CompTIA.

Additionally, the site has detailed exam certification training with options such as CompTIA CertMaster. The online tool helps prepare and teach customers about the CompTIA certification exam. To further prepare visitors for the exam the website also allows access to objectives and sample test questions.

The site also features updated information on CompTIA’s four-tier suite of certifications: Foundational, Professional, Mastery and Specialty. Details on certification exam training options, including CompTIA CertMaster, are also highlighted.

Meantime, CompTIA introduced the CompTIA Instructor Network, a new LinkedIn community aimed at providing instructors with resources, support and training in a peer-to-peer setting.

The new LinkedIn network is open to instructors around the world who actively deliver training or intend to train students on CompTIA certification courses. This includes high school teachers, college and university professors, commercial training instructors, corporate trainers, government trainers, self-employed instructors and publishers’ authors and instructors.
