VeloCloud Networks, a Los Altos, California-based cloud networking services provider, has launched a partner program that is designed to give managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) an annuity-based recurring revenue stream.

The VeloCloud Partner Program, which debuted this week during the Cloud Partners Conference in New Orleans, enables MSPs and VARs “to provide enterprise-grade cloud networking services to their customers.” It also allows resellers to rapidly deploy new hybrid branch wide area networks (WANs), networking capabilities and managed services to midsize and large enterprises, VeloCloud said.

VeloCloud’s new partner program features:

  • An MSP portal

  • Multiple tiers based on certification requirements

  • The ability to provide cloud-delivered WAN services to customers

“The VeloCloud Partner Program is a key component of our business strategy,” VeloCloud CEO Sanjay Uppal said in a prepared statement. “Our cloud-delivered WAN services represent not just a technology innovation, but also a business model innovation.”

VeloCloud wasn’t the only company to unveil a partner program for MSPs at the Channel Partners Conference.

VAR Dynamics launches Super Partner Channel program

Private label cloud services provider (CSP) VAR Dynamics launched its Super Partner Channel program for MSPs, cloud aggregators and master distributors during the Cloud Partners Conference.

This program allows any company with a network of resellers to add new cloud or hosted services to their offerings, VAR Dynamics said.

VAR Dynamics noted “Super Partners” can receive a deep discount on wholesale pricing as well.

“We are the only hosted email and collaboration provider with this level of channel engagement,” VAR Dynamics CEO Tony Francisco said in a prepared statement. “Over the years, we’ve listened to our partners and have expanded our product catalog to suit their business needs. Developing our platform to work for various partner profiles was just as critical to us.”

Vorex enters the MSP market

Vorex officially entered the MSP professional services automation (PSA) market, announcing its arrival yesterday at the Cloud Partners Conference. The Dallas-based company previously sold PSA software directly to small businesses.

Stuart Selbst, Vorex’s chief operating officer, told MSPmentor that his company is in the process of building new products and models for MSPs and plans to release a product roadmap in the near future.

Vorex CEO Michael Salem told MSPmentor in March he ultimately wants 40 to 50 percent of his company’s business to be MSP-related.
