CharTec, the hardware as a service (HaaS) specialist, is partnering with Reflexion Networks, an email security and anti-spam specialist. The relationship gives CharTec partners special discounts and early access to Reflexion’s latest hosted security services. Here’s a bit more about the relationship.

Reflexion’s email security service includes Reflexion Total Control (RTC) for anti-spam and email security; Reflexion Archiving, eDiscovery and Recovery (RADAR) for email archiving; and RTC Encryption for compliance with state and federal privacy and data protection regulations, according to a prepared statement from both companies. CharTec and Reflexion call their combined solution the Total Control Compliance Suite. The solution is targeted at MSPs and solution providers.

The CharTec-Reflexion relationship emerges as a key inflection point approaches in the managed services market. Many MSPs are testing Microsoft’s forthcoming Office 365 cloud applications, which includes Exchange Online. Some MSPs are watching to see how Microsoft safeguards Exchange Online for SMB customers. Meanwhile, a lengthy list of companies have introduced email security services for MSPs. Key competitors in the market include Exchange Defender, GFI Software, Roaring Penguin and Spam Soap.
