Hardware as a service and MSP training provider CharTec has launched a new division called Relyenz to provide partners with value added distribution services for multi-vendor security products.

Relyenz will focus on the company’s flagship CentralPoint platform, which was designed to allow MSPs to provision endpoint security, manage passwords and deliver disaster recovery solutions to customers, according to the announcement.

“For years, CharTec members have been asking us if there was a way to manage their security stack just like their disaster recovery solutions from CharTec,” said Alex Rogers, CEO of CharTec, in a statement. ‘That’s why we launched Relyenz. We’ve brought together a strong core of individuals with extensive security background, paired with the best solutions in the industry, to better serve the MSP community.”

Sophos also announced that it has joined the CentralPoint platform to provide customers with access to its security suite. The partnership expands upon Sophos and CharTec’s existing relationship.

“We really believe in the concept of being ‘fully managed,’ ” said Leonard Dimiceli, vice president of Sales at Relyenz. “Our core suite of services can be deployed and maintained through our CentralPoint Security Platform, giving partners the ability to put the focus back into servicing their customers.”

Both Relyenz and the CentralPoint platform launched this week during CompTIA ChannelCon 2015 in Chicago.
