Alert Logic Names Cloud Security Channel Chief

Earlier this year, MSPmentor’s John Moore laid out cloud security vendor Alert Logic’s value proposition for MSPs. Now, Alert Logic has promoted Randy Rosenbaum (pictured) from product marketing manager to the channel chief post. Here are details.

Earlier this year, MSPmentor’s John Moore laid out cloud security vendor Alert Logic’s value proposition for MSPs. Now, Alert Logic has promoted Randy Rosenbaum (pictured) from product marketing manager to the channel chief post. Here are details.

In his new role as director of partner development, it’ll be Rosenbaum’s job to ensure Alert Logic‘s service provider partners have the tools and training to build managed security solutions for their clients. Alert Logic specializes in cloud-delivered intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment and log management products.

The Alert Logic Partner Success Platform has two tiers: one for resellers and VARs, and one for hosting providers like Rackspace, The Planet, and NaviSite. Both tiers offer Alert Logic partners marketing and lead generation opportunities, the company says.

In previous conversations, Alert Logic told MSPmentor the company planned on growing their channel sales organically with their existing partner base, and it sounds like that continues to be their plan.
