Some Microsoft chatter: A post at the official Windows Azure blog indicates that the Toolkit for Facebook is now available, allowing Azure developers to build and deploy applications to the social platform quickly and easily. Here’s some perspective.

To get started building these applications in Azure, prospective vendors will need a Facebook Developers Account, the IFrame Facebook application, an SQL Azure database, and a storage account in Windows Azure.
