Why The VAR Guy May Quit His Day Job
Sure, The VAR Guy is happily married. He’s got a fantastic, beautiful wife and three awesome kids. But our resident blogger is facing a forbidden temptation today. The VAR Guy may actually quit his day job in order to pursue a new career, where he’ll be surrounded by dozens of beautiful, intelligent women 24×7. So, where exactly might The VAR Guy be heading? Here’s the potential answer…
… The VAR Guy many join a tech support call center. Why? It appears to be the ultimate place to meet attractive women. Forget bars and online dating. Go hang out in a NOC (network operations center) or a tech support call center. The view is incredible. Skeptical? Do a quick Google Image Search of “Customer Support” and the results are, um, attractive:
Bottom line: Why blog solo from a home office when you can hang out in a NOC with America’s Next Top Models — smiling as you answer questions about Blue Screens of Death, login errors and hardware failures…
Instead of calling the Help Desk, perhaps The VAR Guy should visit the help desk. Indefinitely.
Can He Help You?
Admittedly, The VAR Guy may not fit in with those attractive surroundings. Alas, our resident blogger is your average-looking middle-aged man. Balding. Gaining weight… but backed by a wonderful personality (or so he claims…).
Still, there’s plenty of eye candy for women who want to work in tech support as well. The VAR Guy noticed these Good Fellas in the Google search results. Our resident blogger thinks they’re attractive (Not that there’s anything wrong with that…)
Hotties, Hunks… And the Rest of Us
After checking those Google search results The VAR Guy wonders: When did America’s preoccupation with models make the jump from movies and magazines… and into NOCs?
If The VAR Guy submitted his resume, would he make the cut? Doubtful… But our resident blogger dares to dream…. While he continues to blog from home.
