Jenne’s “onboarding program” has been designed with a singular goal in mind: make it simpler and easier for VARs to enter the videoconferencing business with LifeSize. That means deal registration, bundling pre- and post-sales support, technical training, demonstration support, end-to-end configuration of customer solutions, help with customer quotes and, lastly, product support direct from Jenne.
But what makes the LifeSize announcement unique is that Jenne is promising to help VARs into the market by having a “LifeSize demonstration specialist” on staff who can give a potential customer a complete tour of the LifeSize portfolio, all while under the guise of the VAR. Jenne can also loan LifeSize equipment to resellers that want to present their own demonstrations. Bottom line for VARs is that Jenne is offering a package deal to make it quicker to go to market and turn a profit. For VARs that haven’t broken into this industry before, the Jenne offering could be a perfect stepping stone.
