The VAR Guy Seeks Broadband
The VAR Guy is recovering from Broadband Withdrawal. After attending MuniWireless 2007: New England earlier this week, he headed to St. Johnsbury, Vermont for some confidential meetings (please don’t tell anyone). Alas, much of northern New England lacks broadband Internet access. The VAR Guy’s broadband problems only got worse from there.
After a full day in Vermont, The VAR Guy headed to Albany to catch a flight to Chicago. While in Albany, The VAR Guy and two of his mentors checked into a Comfort Inn. Big mistake. No broadband. No help at the front desk. No brains at the inn…
Next up, The VAR Guy and one of his mentors headed to Albany airport only to discover their flight was canceled and the next flight out was the following morning. Fortunately, the duo found shelter at a lake-front house in The Berkshires, Massachusetts. Boating, fishing, ice cream (those boys are P – I – G … pigs!) — but again no broadband.
Finally, now in Chicago, The VAR Guy has found broadband. But he’d be willing to trade it for a flight home to New York. Alas, he’s stranded here due to FAA computer glitches.
