Storage Migration Provider SANpulse Reports Strong 2010 At Halftime
SANpulse Technologies, Inc., which provides storage migration and data center consolidation solutions for large enterprises, is boasting some impressive numbers for the first half of 2010 — including 280% revenue growth in Q1 and Q2 from last year. Here’s the scoop.
Driving that explosive growth, says the SANpulse press release, is Fortune 500 companies continuing to adopt their SANlogics data migration automation product. SANpulse, in turn, is taking that grown-out revenue and putting it into expanded US operations, new additions to their management team in the form of veterans of companies like IBM, EMC and Asigra, and further developing their technology platform.
Of course, let’s keep things in perspective: SANpulse isn’t publicly traded, so we have to take their word for it when they report impressive statistics. Still, that same press release comes with another interesting tidbit: SANpulse solutions have now transformed and optimized 25,000 servers attached to over 40 petabytes of data.
Finally, and of most value to VARs: because of this upswing in demand, SANpulse is working on expanding their channel presence in the US and Europe, so stay tuned to The VAR Guy for updates on that front.
