SaaSMAX has launched a partner profiling and intelligence solution designed to help enterprise customers gather business intelligence on their reseller partners.
The solution, called PartnerOptimizer, utilizes IBM’s Watson technology to scan partner websites and gather information on a channel partner’s business, according to the announcement. By curating business intelligence on partners and prospective partners, SaaSMAX said it hopes to help its enterprise customers make more informed decisions on how they communicate and engage with their resellers.
The software as a service marketplace and software distributor said PartnerOptimizer is capable of scanning “tens of thousands” of partners’ websites to identify pre-selected data points regarding their specific businesses, even if those sites are not in English. The software uses a combination of analytics processes developed for the Worldwide IT, Telecom and Cloud Channel markets in addition to the cognitive abilities of IBM’s Watson platform to parse relevant information about partners, according to SaaSMAX.
PartnerOptimizer is capable of scanning for a variety of different data queries, including customer types, customer size, target markets and more, said Dina Moskowitz, SaaSMAX’s CEO. Information is then gathered and presented in a ranked and searchable database format.
“The holistic profile of a channel partner from the partner’s own website is what we’re uniquely bringing to channel teams,” she said in a statement. “We believe we are the only solution or service that offers this depth and type of data about our clients’ partners using our efficient and fast methods.”
