This week, we sat down with Larry Newman, director of sales at Axis Communications North America, to learn more about the man behind the Swedish IT security and surveillance company's channel program.

Even though his title might imply something different, Newman is in charge of managing all of Axis Communication's North American sales, offices, channel and program activities across the company's portfolio of security solutions. Newman is a 12-year veteran at Axis, during which he was responsible for creating and implementing the company's channel partner strategy as well as building Axis' sales organization.

Newman holds more than 25 years of sales experience in the IT industry, and previously served as vice president of sales for ZOOM/Hayes Telephonics before joining Axis Communications in 2003.
