Jenne Now Offers Multi-Vendor UC Quoting for Resellers

Jenne, the UC-focused value-added distribution company, was brought to our attention recently through its launch of Jenne University, bringing vendor-specific training to VARs and their teams. Now, Jenne has teamed up with eXalt Solutions to create a streamlined tool for VARs to provide a quick and easy quotes for pricing VoIP solutions. Facts, figures and channel details follow …

For those who don’t know, eXalt Solutions provides cloud-based sales services. Together, with Jenne, eXalt has created the Jenne Solutions Designer (JSD), a web portal for VAR channel partners that enables them to spec and view an entire solution that meets customers’ budgets.

Jenne is positioning JSD as a one-stop-shop for VARs looking to create a quick quote that takes into account a number of specific factors, from price range and products to technical specifications and a multitude of solutions from vendors including Avaya, Panasonic, ADTRAN and others. According to Jenne, JSD has the potential to “transform” the sales process for VARs since the portal is online 24×7 and open to VARs of all sizes and includes no “cumbersome spreadsheets,” but does feature tools that automatically optimize solutions based on hardware type, software type and even the kinds of cables needed. If you’re the artistic type, JSD includes “Expert Mode,” in which users can sketch out a graphical representation of the completed VoIP build.

Bottom line for VARs working with Jenne? Like Jenne University, Jenne is looking to make VARs’ lives easier by offering them a central repository for all the necessary tools. With JSD, VARs have the potential to finish up a business proposal at any time they want, even if it’s 3 a.m. UC VARs looking for some new momentum can sign up for JSD or read up on Jenne University and see if it’s a fit.
