Has The VAR Guy's identity finally been revealed? Rumors are swirling that Ron Burgundy is the brilliant, anonymous pundit who pens The VAR Guy blog. Are the rumors on the mark?

Admittedly, The VAR Guy is very important. He's kind of a big deal. He has many leather-bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany.

But are The VAR Guy and Burgundy one in the same? The answer may not surface until Anchorman 2 debuts December 20. Burgundy will be everywhere that day. If The VAR Guy somehow disappears without notice, it will provide further evidence that Burgundy and The VAR Guy can never be seen in the same place. 

It could be a modern-day Clark Kent-Superman paradox — minus the glasses and red briefs. Or it could be something very different — The VAR Guy hanging out at Starbucks while Will Ferrell goes on the talk show circuit.
