Channel Partner Program Roundup: Ziften,Teleris, Paragon

Howdy, and welcome once again to our weekly Channel Partner Program Roundup.

Howdy, and welcome once again to our weekly Channel Partner Program Roundup. This week saw a lot of big channel news from Cisco Systems and CA Technologies, but there were plenty of other channel happenings as well. Ready for the roundup?

In this week’s roundup we take a look at Ziften Technologies, Teleris and Paragon Software. Specifically:

Ziften Technologies: The desktop virtualization management software vendor has launched its first channel partner program for its BLISS offering, which, according to the company, “Enables IT departments to understand, prioritize, and control applications running across physical and virtual Windows desktops.” The company is recruiting VARs, distributors and solution providers to provide sales, fulfillment and support globally.

The program offers direct access to Ziften staff for training and support, marketing collateral and competitive financial incentives, according to the company. Interested partners can check Ziften’s website for information.

Teleris: Video collaboration company Teleris launched its Channel Partner Program in October 2011, and has signed on Japan-based solution provider KVH as a founding partner. KVH will deliver a broad range of Teliris video collaboration solutions and managed services paired with KVH’s global network services and bilingual service desk in Japan and the Asia-Pacific market.

Paragon Software: Disaster recovery and data protection software developer Paragon Software Group has added Softmart to its stable of VARs to resell its line of data storage, disaster recovery software and storage optimization software.

“With Softmart’s excellent reputation for service and impressive customer list, we look forward to helping them keep their customers happy and continue to grow their profits,” said Daniel Eickhoff, director of Channel Sales at Paragon Software, in a prepared statement.
