cowboy

Welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of all things channel-related. This week we have news from HID Global, Vidtel and ForeScout Technologies, so check your stirrups, tighten your spurs and let’s get riding.

HID Global: The secure identity vendor has expanded its Identity Assurance partner program to North America after a successful rollout in Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) region. The updated channel partner program includes a focus on the enterprise, healthcare, financial and government markets, and was developed in part in response to channel partner survey responses. Identity Assurance also includes a revamped and easy-to-use partner portal and channel enablement tools.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for all our channel partners to have access to the same level of identity assurance expertise that our partners in Europe have been enjoying,” said Jerome Becquart, vice president and general manager, Identity Assurance at HID Global. “By bringing our Identity Assurance partner program to North America, channel customers now have a simple set of services to create new revenue opportunities by providing our secure identity solutions and know-how to their customers. This program furthers our efforts to make it easier for our partners to do business with us and easier for those partners to do business with their customers.”

Vidtel: Videoconferencing solutions provider AVer Information and Vidtel, which provides any-to-any cloud videoconferencing services, have announced a marketing partnership to sell Vidtel MeetMe cloud services via the AVer reseller channel.

AVer’s two videoconferencing solutions include a PTZ camera, codec, microphones and remote control — the HVC110 is a single HD endpoint priced at $2,499.99, and the HVC310, priced at $3,499.99, adds an integrated four-way MCU and meeting recording.

Vidtel’s multi-party cloud-based services start at 15 cents per minute or $149 per month.

ForeScout: The automated security control solutions vendor has joined the Secured by RSA Certified Partner Program and its ForeScout CounterACT solutions have been certified interoperable with the RSA enVision platform.

The interoperability of ForeScout CounterACT with the RSA enVision solution now enables security professionals to capture, retain and analyze events generated from ForeScout CounterACT, including network access violations, endpoint compliance problems and mobile security issues, as well as threat mitigation actions.

And that’s this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup. Check in next week for the latest in channel partner program news, but until then, enjoy the day.
