Howdy, folks, and welcome back to the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of channel partner news without all the fluff. This week we’ve got news from F5 Networks and Pure Storage, so pull on your boots, saddle up your horse and let’s get ridin’.

F5 Networks: The network optimization company announced the winners of the 2012 F5 Agility Awards, celebrating creativity, business value, and innovation with F5 solutions. This year’s winners include MLB Network, Rackspace Hosting and Future Com Ltd. The awards were announced during F5’s Agility Summit 2012 customer and partner conference, July 23–25 in New York.

MLB Network and Rackspace Hosting both won Customer Agility Awarrds, MLB Network for its use of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) to broadcast live games and original studio programming and Rackspace Hosting for its use of F5’s Application Delivery Networking platform to create a hybrid service called RackConnect that offers the performance and security of dedicated hosted servers and the flexibility to “jump” to the cloud to scale an application when needed.

FutureCom was awarded the Partner Agility Award for its work with food service provider Sysco. Using a number of F5 products, including BIG-IP devices running BIG-IP Edge Gateway and BIG-IP WebAccelerator, Future Com standardized all ordering, billing and inventory control systems across Sysco’s 180 locations.

Pure Storage: The all-flash enterprise storage vendor announced its P3 partner program, which will make its Pure Storage FlashArray available to purchase exclusively from qualified IT solutions providers. The program is designed to make selling FlashArray solutions simple and flexible for its partners, according to the company.

Among the benefits of the P3 partner program:

  • A secure partner portal with exclusive access to a rich resource library of lead generation, pre- and post-sales tools to generate new opportunities;

  • Deal registration that provides a simple way to register new opportunities, with a 48-hour SLA; and

  • Exclusive promotions and giveaway programs for sellers and customers.
