Non-profit industry groups Cloud Girls and Women in the Channel are calling on the channel community to submit their applications for its second annual Cloud Girl Rising Awards before the application deadline on Feb. 15, 2017.

The awards are given to two women – a Trailblazer and a Rising Star – who have demonstrated innovation, solution-orientation and thought leadership in the cloud space in 2016. The recipients will be recognized in an awards ceremony on Apr. 12, 2017, at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.

“The Cloud Girl Rising award was created to inspire more thought leadership and forward movement by women involved in cloud,” Cloud Girls founder Jo Peterson, vice president of converged cloud and data services at Clarify360 said in a statement. “We want to honor women who have made a difference in the space while encouraging more women to step forward and join the conversation.”

Women in sales, marketing or engineering roles at a channel partner organization (MSP, VAR or agent) can apply to be considered for the awards. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 15, 2017.
