ShoreTel Network Services Now Available For ShoreTel Sky Customers
ShoreTel (SHOR) this week expanded its Network Services Portfolio to ShoreTel Sky customers. With this portfolio addition, businesses can now leverage the ShoreTel Sky cloud phone system and unified communications (UC) solution with ShoreTel’s Network Services Portfolio to ensure their IP networks are designed and configured for optimum performance, according to ShoreTel.
ShoreTel’s Network Services include data networking services such as:
- Network Diagnostics.
- Network Delivery.
- Network Design Validation.
- Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Readiness Assessment.
- WLAN VoIP Readiness Assessment.
These services also complement those offered by ShoreTel’s channel partners, ShoreTel said, and ultimately could help partners better support their customers’ cloud communications needs.
“We’ve seen tremendous demand for these services from premises customers, and ShoreTel Sky customers have been equally vocal. Together with the expertise of our channel partners and these additional data networking services, we further enable brilliantly simple communications for cloud users,” Bharath Oruganti, ShoreTel’s senior vice president of services and operations, said in a prepared statement.

Heather Tenuto, ShoreTel’s vice president of worldwide channel programs and sales enablement, told Talkin’ Cloud that ShoreTel wants its partners to be “customer-centric” and is working with partners to give them “more involvement throughout the cloud customer lifecycle.”
In addition, more than half of ShoreTel’s U.S. partners offer cloud services as part of the company’s Champion Partner Program.
