Channel Partner Program Roundup: Carousel Industries, Masergy Communications, Security Mentor

Happy Thursday, and welcome back to a fresh edition of Channel Partner Program Roundup. This week we’ve gathered some of the biggest and best partner-centric news from Carousel Industries, Masergy Communications and Security Mentor for your reading pleasure. Let’s dive in.

Carousel: Carousel Industries has been selected as an authorized reseller of Microsoft’s Surface Hub collaboration solution, with the company accepting preorders now.

The Surface Hub is expected to ship in Q4 2015 and includes software and services centered around group productivity, according to the announcement. Surface Hub will also include integration with Microsoft services including Skype for Business, OneNote and Office. As a reseller, Carousel said it will offer customers full Skype for Business Integration with the company’s SmartPoint Managed Services.

“We are excited to introduce Surface Hub to our customers as it provides users with a single solution that integrates the best of Microsoft hardware, software and productivity services," said Rhonda Wingate, vice president of Collaboration at Carousel Industries, in a statement. "Surface Hub is the perfect solution for business customers who are seeking devices that will empower teams to be more productive and Carousel has the industry experience to integrate these types of collaboration technologies across business environments.”

Masergy: Managed networking and cloud services provider Masergy Communications awarded 10 of its top partners with platinum status for fiscal year 2016. Masergy appointed new gold and platinum partners based on sales performance for fiscal year 2015, which ended on June 30, according to the company.

Among the new platinum partners, Masergy highlighted Avant Communications for driving the highest overall sales for the second consecutive year, with Bridgepointe Technologies earning the top spot for UCaaS sales. Intelisys was the top earner in Unified Enterprise Security sales.

The full list of platinum partners for fiscal year 2016 includes:

Security Mentor: Security awareness training provider Security Mentor has added Cloud Distribution, Interwork Technologies and YouSecure to its channel partner ecosystem to provide security awareness training to new customers.

These additions build on the earlier launch of Security Mentor’s global partner program, which unified the company’s partner benefits, marketing and training activities under a single banner, according to the announcement.

“Distributors are uniquely suited to help resellers meet the security needs of their clients by offering an effective security awareness training solution,” said Marie White, CEO and president of Security Mentor. “We are excited to welcome the regional presence and expertise of Cloud Distribution, Interwork Technologies and YouSecure to our global roster of partners which will assist us with the recruiting, training and onboarding of partners within our core, targeted growth regions.”
