Auth0 Adding New Partner Types with Expanded Partner Program
Auth0, an identity-as-a-service (IDaaS) provider, has unveiled a global partner program expansion that includes five new partners and will grow the program by 440%
The company said the surge of new solutions and technology partners from the United States, Canada, South America, and northern and southern Europe demonstrates how important identity management is to technology integrators.

Auth0’s Bill Lapcevic
To lead the continued growth of the partner program globally, Bill Lapcevic has joined the company as vice president of business development, responsible for owning and managing all global channels and partnerships at Auth0. Prior to joining Auth0, Lapcevic served as COO for Sentry.io, responsible for the company’s go-to-market business. Before that, he was vice president of customer success at New Relic.
Lapcevic tells us Auth0 is in a “unique” position because it’s a platform for identity for developers.
“First, the problem of providing Identity and authentication for applications is huge — and growing,” he said. “Every company these days is a software company, and every one of them is looking for the expertise and solid product to provide Identity as a core part of those applications. So the opportunity to sell and deliver Auth0 is huge.”
Because the standards and concepts behind effective delivery of identity and authentication in software is complex and always changing, customers are looking for expertise in addition to a platform to build upon, Lapcevic said.
“This creates huge opportunity with partners who can build practices around the platform of extensible identity and authentication services that Auth0 offers,” he said. “They can easily build integrations to the platform, extending its utility, or covering edge cases, bundle Auth0 with other offerings, all while approaching identity and authentication as core to the project from the start, rather than something to be clumsily bolted on after the fact. Our partners are able to make identity and authentication an above the line component of their customer’s strategy, driving competitive advantage, agility, brand and revenue.”
Auth0 also is strengthening its focus on technology training and enablement for partners, most notably through the launch of its new partner portal. Auth0 partners can use the portal to find the latest news, content and training materials, or register a new opportunity directly. Auth0 also recently launched an AWS-focused microsite to promote its availability on AWS Marketplace.
“Because Auth0 believes strongly that partners are already, and will in an even more significant way, impact our growth trajectory, we’re going to apply resources — people resources — to the programs,” Lapcevic said. “There will be more people to help with the heavy lifting, the onboarding, the enablement, the feedback, and therefore more people dedicated to the success of the partnership. I’d expect that to allow us to really learn and know, build personal relationships, and build long-term super strong interactions with our partners.”
The expanded program provides opportunities for MSPs, MSSPs and other cybersecurity providers that are looking to increase their capabilities, he said.
“Auth0 is looking at a number of partnerships where we can embed Auth0 in other offerings,” Lapcevic said. “Additionally…
