Before joining Datto, Scott built his passion for value selling in various Product Marketing, Senior Sales and Executive positions for more technology and software startups than he cares to remember. Scott is a proud graduate of Miami University (the one in Oxford, OH), where he received a B.S. in Organizational Behavior, but his real education comes from years of working with and selling to customers.
Henry Washburn, Senior Technical Evangelist, Datto
As Datto’s Senior Technical Evangelist, Henry coaches organizations on how to be trusted advisors to their clients when it comes to Managed Services, this includes data protection and security procedures. Henry joined Datto in 2008 and has been a cornerstone of the organization since the early days “in the basement.” He has served Datto in a various capacities including starting the Sales Engineering and Training departments but a common thread to all these roles has been data security. In recent years, Henry has become a subject matter expert in Ransomware with a specific focus on the growing threat to small and midsized organizations around the world. Henry spends a large portion of his time educating the industry on this emerging issue and best practices for threat prevention and remediation. Henry believes that education is key to reducing security risks and that it is every employee’s job to mitigate potential risks to the business. To that end he continues to coach and train people to make sure they are part of the defensive strategy. Henry relishes the opportunity at Datto to “roll your sleeves up” and solve problems. He has a degree in Economics and enjoys building renovation and design.
