“With 71% of tech decision makers reporting faster adoption of new technologies in their organizations, Avaya Cloud Office provides customers a seamless and intuitive UCaaS solution that can streamline communications,” he said. “Avaya Cloud Office is enabling organizations of all kinds, across the globe, to quickly and seamlessly manage communications across multiple devices.”

New Cloud Office Capabilities

The UCaaS solution now includes these additional capabilities:

  • Team connect, which enables users to reach the teams they work with most often, in both the mobile and desktop app.

  • Customizable key layout. Avaya J-Series device users can configure and personalize their phone key layout.

  • Salesforce integration. Inbound and outbound calling, as well as call controls, are now natively enabled from inside the Salesforce platform.

  • Multi-account administration, which centralizes access to multiple accounts. It enables a single login to access and switch between a number of accounts through the account management portal.

  • Color-coded conversation folders group and sorting of important messages for faster retrieval and more control over access to previous conversations.

Nearly 72% of businesses have been rethinking how they work, according to Avaya. Furthermore, 74% say they are focused more on unified communications (UC) since the pandemic. However, many businesses still lack a cloud-based UC solution for people working across multiple locations and devices.
