Five9 (FIVN) has expanded its channel partner program to include strategic partnerships with various master agents, systems integrators (SIs) and resellers.
The cloud contact center software provider noted it "will work closely with partners possessing broad technical expertise to deliver a tailored solution to enterprise customers based on their unique environments."
Five9 also said it now is providing its channel partners with the ability to serve as resellers or full original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners.
"Five9 continues to focus on and deliver an enterprise platform adhering to the highest standards of reliability, security, compliance and scalability," Five9 CEO Mike Burkland said in a prepared statement. "As more and more enterprises are moving their contact center technology to the cloud, we are extending our market reach by enabling more partners to provide our industry leading cloud-based contact center solution."
In addition, Five9 has named Wendell Black as its vice president of channel sales.
Black previously served as executive vice president and general manager at contact center software company Vocalcom and will focus on helping Five9 expand its channel sales program.
"The expansion of the program will extend the reach of the Five9 Virtual Contact Center (VCC) by making it available to partners and their customers on a national and global level," Black said.
Five9 reported $32.3 million in revenue in the third quarter of 2015, which represented a 25 percent year-over-year increase.
Burkland attributed Five9's recent success to its growth in the enterprise sector, a trend that may continue.
"Our record (third quarter) revenue and bookings were primarily driven by continued success in our high-growth enterprise business," he said. "Our strong momentum in the enterprise market is being driven by key differentiators."
